Cole and Erin heard of me through a friend (hey Brooklyn!). We photographed their engagement photos at a pond near Cole's childhood home... so it was only fitting that we took some photos at the pond next to Cornerstone Church, where they got married! This day was such a sweet one. Erin's bridesmaids were all so much fun, helping her with her dress and laughing with each other. I want to be friends with all of them!
Erin's sister and maid of honor helped her into her gorgeous dress. The lace and beading was so elegant, and the full long skirt was perfect for twirling! Also, that low back? To die for!
The soon-to-be-Haverkamps chose to do their first look inside Cornerstone, at the large staircase, and I loved how it turned out!
Erin's bouquet smelled better than it looked (if that's possible!) and I wanted to keep it so much. ;)
After the bridal party photos, everyone went inside to hydrate and enjoy some down time. Guests began to arrive, and everyone was catching up! I love watching wedding guests (since I so rarely get to be one these days)... it's always a joy to witness friends and family greet one another on such a happy day.
First kiss as man & wife!
Cole and Erin held their wedding reception at Gatherings in Nevada, Iowa. It's a quaint little town, nestled off the highway, and Gatherings is an elegant touch of country glam! The catering was done by Farmhouse Catering-- fresh fruit, bruchetta, bacon wrapped breadsticks, and hot wings. SO MUCH GOOD FLAVOR!
We snuck out to grab a few "sunset photos" and to take a break from the dance floor. Thanks to whomever let us borrow their tree! ;)
