December sparkles with twinkle lights, dreams of snow, and the hope of Christmas. It's arguably the most magical month of the year...so when Megan told me that she and Kelly were getting married on December 1, I'm pretty sure I squealed! The morning of their wedding, I showed up at the hotel where Megan & her ladies were finishing up hair and makeup to find a room full of kind people and so much joy. That joy only increased throughout the day! From Megan & Kelly's first look, to the excitement all of their nieces during family photos (and even the ceremony!), to the heartfelt but funny toasts--this was such a perfect wedding day! 

We took some of Megan and Kelly's engagement photos by the Iowa State Captial building near East Village in Des Moines. Even though their wedding was at a church in Ankeny, they make the time to drive in to Des Moines for wedding photos! It was definitely worth it, and I love that they now live in Des Moines, as well! Enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding day:)
