One of my Ames High senior models from last year, Lydia, is friends with Halei... which is how she decided to book me for her senior pictures! We met up for coffee back in April (WOW that feels like so long ago now) and dreamed up a gorgeous floral and nature inspired senior photo shoot. Halei is alllll about the shoes, and so she totally built this session around her shoes and floral outfit theme! If you know me, perpetual flowers would be one of my three items on an abandoned island. Needless to say, Halei and I are now best friends. ;)

Halei adores her pets-- that was one of the first things she told me! She loves her puppy dog (Lucy) and a sweet hedgehog more than anything. We had hoped that both could make an appearance, but her little hedgehog wasn't feeling it, so we just let Lucy tag along! Lucy didn't like the bridge very much (it was actually super hilarious) but once we got on the grass, was pulling at her leash to go after all the wild rabbits. Haha!

I tell all my senior models to wear makeup, whether they have it done professionally or have a friend help out. Halei did her own makeup, and it was flawless! I honestly thought she'd had it done professionally... but nope, this girl is a rockstar! The tones she used were subtle and brought out her natural beauty, just like makeup for senior photos should. She's just naturally gorgoues, and bubbles from the inside out!

Isn't Halei a stunner?! If she didn't have a boyfriend, I'd say that she'd have a lot of date requests to the Ames High Homecoming dance this fall. ;)

Halei's mom took Lucy home, and she did a quick outfit change into the cutest white American Eagle romper-- with pockets and the prettiest pink floral embroidery! I may just have to buy myself one, because it would be perfect for a summer movie in the park, or maybe even to wear to a 4th of July party. These heels were incredible, and she wore them well!
