Last summer, I got to photograph senior photos downtown Des Moines. It was a blast! So, this summer, I loved shooting Aimee’s senior pictures in the downtown Waterloo area! Aimee is a senior at Cedar Falls High School, and is super involved in dance (both at school, and outside of CFHS)! We had a ton of fun wandering down by the river, and even popped into Singlespeed Brewery to take a few senior photos. We wrapped up our night with a fun surprise— colored photography smoke bombs!

I love the following photos. We found a fun wall with a little wind (it felt awesome, because it was a hot night!) and Aimee rocked it.

The following photo is probably my favorite! It's a real, genuine laugh! Also, the white walls and blue windows in downtown Waterloo matched Aimee's style PERFECTLY. What else do you need?!

Since Aimee dances on the dance team at Cedar Falls High School, we decided to incorporate a little bit of dance and hip hop style into her senior photos! After a quick outfit change later, we found the perfect spot to shoot... and abandoned lot.

Aimee, thanks for booking me to take your senior photos!
