Senior photos at the lake
Elise will be a senior at Teddy Roosevelt High School this fall, where she’s active in cheer and academics. We had a wonderful time taking her senior photos on the new field there, as well as around town at some of her favorite spots. :) Enjoy a few highlights from Elise’s senior pictures!
Claire wanted fall senior photos, and Iowa definitely delivered! Between Valley Junction’s cute downtown, and the stunning colors of autumn at Dale Maffit Lake Reservoir, we had a stunning session to capture her seinor year memories.
This sweet gal traveled to Des Moines just to have me take her senior portraits! It was an honor— and SO MUCH FUN! I think we went over our time (the sun definitely set on us!) but it was worth the end photos we got. Amber is a blast to hang out with, and her East Village senior pictures are some of the highlights of my career!!
You won’t believe how much fun this photo session was! Kennedy is going to be a senior this coming school year, and we explored downtown Des Moines and the surrounding area for some really fun senior pictures. Check out the blog post for the perfectly sunny evening, and lots of sweet photos.
This session was full of great light and lots of laughter, and even some magical wildflower fields! Hannah giggled at all my dumb jokes, and made our time together a blast! We started downtown in Des Moines, canvassing a wide range of locations, before heading up to the lake for some dreamy sunset photos. Enjoy a few favorites from Hannah’s senior photo session!
I uploaded a few new photos, along with some previous work, because I’m having such a blast with the class of 2021! Summer is my favorite season to take senior photos —maybe this will show you why! The light is soft, we get late sunsets and lots of pretty wildflowers. Plus, it might be hot… but at least it isn’t cold! Never before seen on this blog— this super fun senior session took us all over town! We explored the river and wildflowers running through town, to her front stoop at home and some gorgeous alleyways downtown, and ended on the tennis court to commemorate Ariana’s time playing on the tennis team in high school! Hello there! It's been a hot minute since I blogged--or really have done much of anything photography related, beside show up with a camera in hand at a session or wedding. August was CRAZY for me (two jobs make for a busy schedule!), but September is finally allowing me a little space to breathe again & get into a normal schedule. That means editing and blogging and new photos to share!!
Anna is such a sweetheart. She runs for CFHS, and also enjoys hanging out with her friends when she isn't in class. Her older brother goes to ISU (Go Cyclones!) so while she doesn't quite know where she wants to end up after high school, I'm rooting for Iowa State. ;) Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from Anna's senior photos!
