Valley High School Des Moines
Emilia and I share a name (in pronunciation, at least!) and a love of fashion & reading. We may read very different books and watch opposite styles of film, but it was fun to get to know her & her mom during this fall senior session! I love that she included her fencing gear, a huge part of her life! Enjoy these artsy senior photos in the heart of historic DSM.
Claire wanted fall senior photos, and Iowa definitely delivered! Between Valley Junction’s cute downtown, and the stunning colors of autumn at Dale Maffit Lake Reservoir, we had a stunning session to capture her seinor year memories.
It was a hot day in August, but the clouds rolled in to give us some relief from the humidity. Zoe can be more quiet than some, but we still great giggles together while exploring Valley Junction and West Des Moines for her senior photo experience!!
Zoe’s senior photos took place on a humid Iowa evening, but you wouldn’t even know how hot it was outside by her calm smiles! She graduates this year from Valley High School in West Des Moines, and will be on to new adventures this fall at university. Enjoy a few favorites from my time with this sweet dancer!
Madeline officially graduates from high school this month, and although we took her senior photos back in March, it was chilly and overcast… so we decided to take a few more with the green spaces and flowers that pop up in late spring. The Rose Gardens in Des Moines set us up for the perfect June evening— I’ll never get tired of it! Plus, I hadn’t taken any senior photos there yet, so I’m glad Madeline was up for it. :) She brought along her cap, gown, and tassels for the occasion, perfect for celebrating high school graduation!
Madeline and I photographed her senior photos in a nearly empty downtown Des Moines, Iowa, during the COVID-19 outbreak. Needless to say, she’ll have a wide range of memories of the end of her senior year… and I’m thankful that some gorgeous, BOSS BABE photos are part of those mems! I’m still booking senior photos for the Class of 2021, so reach out of you’d like some pictures this summer or fall!
Kelly is friends with Aimee through their classes at Cedar Falls High School. Kelly andI met up for coffee earlier this summer, and bonded over our mutual love of the local Cup of Joe and UNI Suzuki’s violin program! It was even more fun getting to know her last weekend, when we wandered around CF for her senior pictures. :)
