Comfort and Devin’s story is just starting, and it was so touching to witness their marriage vows & tender love. I’ve only barely had a chance to know them, since Comfort only arrived back to the USA in late fall, but every interaction I’ve had shows me that these two have what it takes for not only a long, but loving, thriving, and community-centered marriage!
It’s always a joy when Instagram friends become real life friends & clients! Diana has followed me for a while, so when she asked me to photograph her intimate wedding to Hunter. Although they live in Minnesota, they married in Des Moines, where they started dating . The Polk County Courthouse is iconic, and it was so fun to get to witness the start of their marriage there!
Do you remember Kathryn + Adam from this fall’s engagement photos in Iowa City!? WELL THEY GOT MARRIED! And it was the perfect intimate wedding day, with family and close friends celebrating the new couple. Snow had fallen the previous week, setting the state for lovely wintery nuptials. I’m so excited for you to enjoy this micro-wedding!
Audrey & Jordan knew they wanted to get married in 2020, so nothing (even a pandemic!) could stop their engagement in April. However, like every other couple this year, their wedding plans shifted. Instead of a Chicago wedding, they picked Audrey’s family’s farm near Iowa City as a venue. It was simple and stunning… see for yourself!
Whitney & Daniel snagged the most popular day of 2020 for their wedding… October 10! (Aka 10/10/2020!) They had a fabulous day planned but with Covid-19 changes, they decided to switch to a more intimate day, celebrating with family and close friends in Des Moines.
