Katie’s senior photos turned out better than I could have dreamed! For a hot, sunny evening in August, you’d never know it wasn’t a cool June evening by how collected and unbothered she was. We’d met up for coffee in the spring to chat about her senior photo ideas, and plan a little for her experience. She spent the summer after junior year at camp, and came back just in time to squeeze in senior photos before classes started up.
As with most of my seniors, we took photos at a few spots in the heart of Des Moines! Local parks and the downtown area almost always fit the bill, so we started by the Rose Garden and ended at the Capital. I wish you could see her whole gallery (so many favs!) but instead, you’ll have to settle for my top 30 or so. Enjoy!
PS: I’m booking senior photos for the Des Moines metro Class of 2024 now… sessions start end of May, and will run through the fall. I’ll also happily take senior photos in other places (Cedar Falls, Ames, even Omaha) so don’t hesitate to reach out sooner than later to chat. :)
