It’s always a joy to watch old friends fall in love and start their families. Geoffrey and I grew up together, and our lives overlapped even into college! However, it had been years since I’d seen him and so he quite randomly messaged me during the summer months about the possibility of me photographing his proposal to his girlfriend, Kristie. It didn’t work out (the photography… not the proposal, ha!) but I’m SO glad they both liked my work enough to hire me for wedding photography!
Every couple that books a wedding day package with me has local engagement photos included. Since Grimes Farm is where Geoffrey proposed, and many memories formed over the past year for these two, they asked if we could take engagement pictures here. OF COURSE! We had a gorgeous sunny evening in late September … just dreamy. Plus, these two are SO head-over-heels in love. Their wedding is in under three weeks and I’m so excited to watch them start their lives together officially! (ALSO! Does Kristie not RADIATE or what!? Her eyes literally sparkle!!)
