Growing up, I lived in my pretend play worlds of books and movies and dress-up. Like many 90's kids, I definitely had a big LOTR phase (and Narnia, that was REALLY my thing for a long while). SO, I cannot emphasize enough how cool it is when couples take their wedding day and make it specific to their interests, aesthetic and personalities. And when it’s a Renaissance themed wedding at a historic mansion, truly, what could be more fun?!

These two, and their families, really went all out for the medieval inspiration. It was refreshing to see people come in costume and historically inspired outfits (or, just fun renaissance fair themed details)! Drake and his groomsmen were troopers, wearing leather and cloaks on such a hot fall day, and Catherine’s floral ensemble had everyone metaphorically swooning. You’ll love all the sweet details and moments from this unique and intimate wedding celebration - see more below!
