July in Iowa is never a joke- this year has felt more humid and rainy than I can remember in recent years! Thankfully, locals know this and even though we complain a bit, we know it’s just part of midwestern summers. This couple were so sweet, and easygoing, even with the crazy weather patterns. The Hive at Busy Bee in Indianola was packed to the brim with dear family and friends, ready to celebrate the vows and marriage of these two. I had the joy of second shooting this day, so you’ll see a few more unique angles and not as many of the “traditional” photos since I wasn’t directing the day. I always love getting to serve other local photographers and couples, this day was no exception- even with a bee sting (ask me for the story!!) this day will be one I look back on fondly!!
