Newborn photos capture one of the most fleeting seasons of life! I know that the haze is strong, as you adjust to sleepless nights and recovery….but if you can plan to get these done in the first 2 weeks (at best by 4 weeks!!) you’ll never regret having photos of you with your new bundle.
A few tips for at home newborn sessions:
-have a space heater handy to keep baby warm, swaddled and snuggly!
-feed baby right before I arrive, so they’re ready to nap
-swaddles look best, since newborn clothes are so wrinkle, but if you have a favorite cute outfit we can still use it!! Also, baby bows, hats/bonnets, or cute accessories are so fun to incorporate!
-take the time you need ahead of photos to shower and do your hair/makeup! and dress up, but wear something comfortable (a dress is great to look cute but be super comfy!). I have a pinterest board with ideas, including outfits; let me know if you’d like to see it!!
