There is no simpler joy in life than popping into the home of a newborn baby to photograph them and their family! It’s always such a special photo session. Baby may not be calm the whole time (although often they sleep through most of the photos!) and I get to capture the new family in their comfortable and personalized spaces! This Ankeny home had the best light, and Millie is gonna be one spoiled with love little girl:)
There’s nothing sweeter than seeing past couples I love, from previous wedding days, as their family grows larger. Gin and Aaron welcomed baby J into their home in April, and I got to spend some time capturing his early days at home with excited big sister Lucy. I love these lifestyle newborn sessions!
Benson (or Benny, as most call him!) was born early and enjoyed a long cozy stay in the NICU at Mercy. Once he was good to head home, we got him on the schedule for some newborn photos. He’s such a cutie and did so well during his photo session!!
Newborn sessions are always a treat, and never predictable. Claire was a tiny (early!) bean when I got to meet her! She definitely wanted to stay aware during her in-home session, and was cute and curious. :)
