Des Moines has so many gorgeous hotels, luxury wedding venues, and incredible corners to discover. So much so, that this couple decided to hold their wedding here! Granted, Kaylan grew up not far from DSM, but she and Matt met in Texas and live in Colorado…so anything was an option. Enjoy the photography from this elegant wedding day!
The sweetest couple, Kirstin and Sean, planned their dream wedding day for back home in Indiana. They invited me to come along for the journey, and I’m so very thankful that we got to celebrate their love on the most gorgeous early fall day at the historic Black Iris Estate!!

Jackie and I were friends in high school, and it’s been so sweet to look back at our friendship over the past 15 years & count the many times she & Collin have had me photograph them and their growing family.
