East Village wedding photographer
Brooke and Tyler made time in their busy spring schedules to fit in some engagement photos with me— I’m soooo excited to get to spend the entire day with them and their crew when they marry in just a few short weeks!! We’re going to have the best time celebrating up in Ankeny at The District Venue!!
These two are so much fun! I met with Kristina last year, before the world changed drastically, and we dreamed together about her wedding day at the Tea Room in downtown Des Moines. Well, 2020 turned on us and Brian + Kristina moved their wedding reception to next year, with an intimate ceremony planned for this fall. Thankfully, they made time to take engagement photos this summer & it was a blast to hang out in East Village and a nearby lake.
Kyle, Kenzie, and I had a wonderful evening in downtown Des Moines, photographing their engagement photos. These two made conversation and shooting a breeze. Enjoy some of my favorites from this joy-filled engagement session!
Two years overseas, loads of coffees, bike rides, and lots of event planning later, Joel and Libby realized they both liked each other… a lot. So they started dating. It was serious from the start, and didn’t take long for talk of wedding bells and marriage. While out in Washington State, Joel took Libby for a picnic at a very scenic spot by a mountain lake. They left engaged, ready to take on the world (literally!). And they’ll be back out west, this time in Colorado, for a late August wedding. How about that!
Savannah & Nathan first met up with me a few months back. We went out for drinks and an appetizer at Roca, in downtown Des Moines. It was obvious to me pretty fast that these two are FUN! We connected easily and quickly. I knew that I’d love their wedding day!
December sparkles with twinkle lights, dreams of snow, and the hope of Christmas. It's arguably the most magical month of the year...so when Megan told me that she and Kelly were getting married on December 1, I'm pretty sure I squealed!
