Carolina emailed me a few weeks ago, inquiring about maternity photos for her & her husband, Simon. They’re expecting a baby boy in just about a month and hoped to take advantage of the spring sunshine to capture this sweet season in their lives! Of course, I was so excited to meet up with them and thankfully we had a gorgeous afternoon to explore the Des Moines Rose Garden. Even though the most flowers haven’t bloomed yet, the love these two share really made these photos shine!! Who needs flowers!?
Carolina & Simon grew up in South America and Europe, respectively. The two of them moved to Ames for research at ISU, and got married a few years ago. They were so kind in answering all my questions about life overseas, their relationship, and plans for their sweet family! I loved getting to connect with them… and can’t wait to meet this baby boy in the early summertime. He’s going to be so loved! And probably have the curliest hair like his mama. You know he’ll be cute, just by looking at these two!!!
