The most consistent space, regardless of outdoor weather, is the Botanical Gardens in Des Moines. It’s always green, with a variety of foliage and blooms from the exotic plants around the dome. Recently rated one of the “best places to propose” in Des Moines, they now offer special proposal packages for those wishing to become engaged while wandering the lush paths. I love getting to photograph at the Botanical Gardens, especially when love and pretty new jewelry is involved!
