Jackie & Sebastian frequented Mother’s Pub, a local establishment close to ISU’s campus, during their dating years while at Iowa State. It only made sense to kick off engagement photos there, reminiscing about their early days together. They made a weekend out of being in Ames, working on wedding plans and enjoying their old spots. So much of Jackie and Sebastian’s relationship centered around Cyclone activities, and it’s special that they’ll be married back in Ames at the ISU Alumni Event Center!
As a sidenote, creating photos that are more than just “pretty golden hour” is SO much fun. I loved this idea of meeting at a bar that shared history with my couple, before exploring campus where these two also spent many years and made memories. Any kind of session can be customized, but senior photos and engagements are two that really elevate when you bring in elements of your unique personality and story!
