I got to hang out with David & Ashley last Friday morning (way earlier than I'm normally awake honestly!). But the light was gorgeous--especially after days of clouds and rain--and we were on a mission... to snag some 6 month photos of Lily before she crashed and took a nap. I love hanging with these friends on a pretty regular basis, and sneak baby snuggles any chance I get, but this was the first time I'd photographed Lily since she was born! Also, it was almost to the date of them announcing their pregnancy with her (with more photos I took, haha). If you're interested, here are David & Ashley's maternity photos from last fall!
As an Iowa family & baby photographer, I love getting to play with kiddos and snuggle alllll the babies. Lily knows me already, which made for some pretty adorable smiles. You'll have to wait to the end of the blog post to see my favorite photo!
At 6 months, Lily isn't quite able to sit or stand yet--but I think that makes for the best "outtakes"!
I am pretty sure Lil Party is my favorite 6 month old. ;) Isn't she just the cutests?! Also, I'll be traveling to Chicago in a few weeks, and Omaha the first weekend of June.
