Susie and David married at the beautiful and quiet Fox Ridge Winery in Traer, Iowa a few years ago. It was a peaceful day, with so many tender moments and a joyful reception hosting a live local band. September weddings really hit different in Iowa!! Fast forward, and they’ve walked through the birth of a daughter, cancer, and career changes. It meant to much to capture their family on a hazy summer evening, just them and their joy (and possibly the excitement of impending ice cream, too…). This location in Cedar Falls is special to us all. We took some of their engagement photos here, back in 2021. Big Woods Lake really never disappoints!!
